Stats 3000: Sometime Fall 2006.
The poisson distribution is a distribution in Statistics, but poisson is actually french for "fish". These are my two fish. The big guy is an 8-10" Oscar, and the little guy is a 3-4" Green Terror.

The Poisson Distribution (quoted from my stats book itself here) is; "A random variable X distributed as a Poisson random variable with parameter λ, which is written X ~ P(λ) and has a probability mass function P(X=x) = (e^-λ * λ^x) / x! for x = 0,1,2,3.... The Poisson distribution is often useful to model the number of times that a certain event occurs per unit of time, distance, or volume, and it has a mean and variance both equal to the parameter λ."

CS 5050: Advanced Algorithms

We had to draw a Binary Search Tree of height=7. I thought "I Can't Fit That Onto A Piece of Paper Neatly.... I Need A Bigger Canvas....Hrm..."

I drew this on the sidewalk on campus, took digital photos of it, and then turned those photos for my homework. Dr. Yan Really liked it. :-)

Linear Algebra, 8 Oct 06 Right before class, I managed to accidentally put an unknown password on my laptop....so I couldn't take notes on my machine during linear algebra as I usually do. I was forced to use archaic pen and paper! Anyway, this is how I felt during class - I was quite frustrated. However, when I got home, I was quite sure to make haste and figure out a way to hack the windows password, which I sucessfully did and got back into my windows machine. Oh, and in this copy, the blurry parts are where I photoshoped' out the *naughty* words.

For Interior Design, 19 September 2006 This is the same as the Hand Maze one below, only I filled it in. This wasn't really a doodle, so much as it was homework. For my interior design class, my assignment was to "Demonstrate Positive & Negative Space", so I just decided to take a drawing that I already had and just fill it in.

And I'd just like to take this moment to say that the [official] reason that I am taking an interior design class is because I still need to get my general-education creative-arts requirements for my university out of the way.

CS3100, End of January 2006. kill -9 -1 is an actuall linux command. It basically just stops all programs that are running - everything pretty much just dies. It's kinda a last resort for when everything is frozen on the computer. But in the class, which was Operating Systems, when the professor mentioned the command kill -9 -1, this is just the image that popped into my head.

Statistics 3000, 14 September 2006. So this is my first College Doodle post consisting of an actual doodle. I made the perfect circles by tracing the Starbucks Coffee cup that I had that day. The upper orb is a single and continuous line. In the lower orb, there are some 'intersections'. If this truly had multiple layers were lines actually lay on top of, instead of simply interrupting, then this would also be one single and continuous line. The style of the connecting mess is similar, but more sparse.

So this is my new Blog dedicated to showcasing all of my doodles that I do in and out of class. The idea of doing this came to me when I was doodling on my new convertible notebook. I thought "Hey, it's easy to copy and paste these doodles if they're cool". So.... here they are, although not all of them are from the notebook, some are true pencil and paper. The images are hosted on my flickr account. Hope y'all enjoy them out there on the internet, and feel free to use anything you see here for whatever reasons; just please redirect people here if you do ;-)
