Hand Trace

Hand Trace

Linear Algebra, 19 September 2006 So I was bored in Linear Algebra.....again. I'd already read the sections and done the homework for the this day's lecture....so I was having a really hard time paying attention. I traced my hand, and then took a few notes over the tracing.

Hand Maze Filled

Hand Maze Filled
Originally uploaded by USUDave.
For Interior Design, 19 September 2006 This is the same as the Hand Maze one below, only I filled it in. This wasn't really a doodle, so much as it was homework. For my interior design class, my assignment was to "Demonstrate Positive & Negative Space", so I just decided to take a drawing that I already had and just fill it in.

And I'd just like to take this moment to say that the [official] reason that I am taking an interior design class is because I still need to get my general-education creative-arts requirements for my university out of the way.

But in the class, which was Operating Systems, when the professor mentioned the command kill -9 -1, this is just the image that popped into my head.

I'll save my attention for later on in the semester when it's not all review for me. In the mean time, I'll be in my own little world.

The upper orb is a single and continuous line. In the lower orb, there are some 'intersections'. If this truly had multiple layers were lines actually lay on top of, instead of simply interrupting, then this would also be one single and continuous line. The style of the connecting mess is similar, but more sparse.

    Intro

So this is my new Blog dedicated to showcasing all of my doodles that I do in and out of class. The idea of doing this came to me when I was doodling on my new convertible notebook. I thought "Hey, it's easy to copy and paste these doodles if they're cool". So.... here they are, although not all of them are from the notebook, some are true pencil and paper. The images are hosted on my flickr account. Hope y'all enjoy them out there on the internet, and feel free to use anything you see here for whatever reasons; just please redirect people here if you do ;-)
